Hi, Moko! I enjoyed your poem "Summertime". Your lovely sunflower reminds me of those we grew in the flowerbeds in my elementary school. My friends and I used to go to school to water them during the designated period of time even in summer holidays.
It was an unwelcome task for children to go to an empty school to water plants while other children were playing. The school buildings looked completely different with no people.

Well, When I was child, I loved summer so much ,maybe the
best of all the seasons,go swimming in the sea and the
river,hunting insects and so on.
Yes I also used to go to school to water the flowers and
sometimes to swim in the pool at school.
Quiet school made me a little bit scary, when we talked
about ghost story.There's lots of ghost stories in my school.

It is always very hot in summer.
But it was cooler and gentler when we were children, wasn’t it?
I liked summer vacation than any vacations as I felt free.

Yes. it was cooler and gentler than nowadays.
When I was a child, we didn't have any air conditioners
at home. Only use a fan (uchiwa) or an electric fan.
Global warming is really serious problem..

In my garden, another sun flowers are growing day by
day,they are tall,they are going to bloom beautifully
in a few days. I'm enjoying seeing them everyday.
