It was cold and raining the day before yesterday. My daughter and I went to Tokyo to attend at my daughter's college entrance ceremony at Four Seasons Hotel , Chinzanso. Four seasons hotel at Chinzanso, Mejiro in Tokyo has a marvelous garden having various trees and floweres in each season. Especially cherry trees, Yamazakura was still blooming beautifully in cold rain. I have visted there for a few times invited the party called " The Fire Fly Party "during the days I had worked for the travel agency in Tokyo.

My daughter wore a pastel pink shirt, like the color of a petal of cherry and a dark suit. She looked a little bit adult and pretty especially today.

That reminds me one of the scene in the same occasion of mine many years ago. When I was eighteen, I came to Tokyo from my hometown to attend at my college entrance ceremony alone, wearing white shirt and a light grey suit, putting on orage colored lipstick. I had a foot scrape because of wearing high heels for the first time. So painful! ( So did my daughter ! She almost cried with terrible pain.) There were so many students gathered from all over Japan, shining their eyes and having dream in each mind.

When I asked my parents ," I want to go to the college inTokyo to study English". They looked so surprised and said "No." Because of an economical reason and also worry for living alone in Tokyo. I was covered from head to foot with a futon and cried for a long time. Eventually my parents accepted my wish. My mother told me " Go to Tokyo and make your dream come true."

Many years have passed away since then, now I realized that was my big turning point in my life indeed. And also this time would be the first turning point of my daughter's life. Hopefully she would study hard and meet good friends and teachers and enjoy her life in youth.

Looking at the beautiful garden outside, suddenly my mother's face had flashed tenderly across my mind.

Thank you so much for reading my article.

Hello, MOKO. I envy you. I wish I had a son. I could play baseball, climb mountains and so on. I'm near the vanishing point having no one to pass a button. I write my career, success or failure, to everybody reading my blog. See you...

Hello sora.
楽しみにしています(^O^)/ See you..

Congratulations! Great! I'm happy for you and your daughter!
May your daughter's dream come true ! Four Seasons Hotel is so gorgeous. I'd suppose you enjoyed its posh equipment and fantastic garden, too. Reading this entry, I recalled that feeling of being that age and the faces of the classmates. Thank you!

Hello, MOKO
Congratulations!
I believe that you were happy as you attended at the opening ceremony of your daughter’s college and you enjoyed at the hotel.
What a wonderful experience.
Parents think their children glow up so fast.
Do you think so, too?(*^_^*)

Oh I'm sorry I made a mistake.
I should have written " I went to Tokyo to attend at my
daughter's college entrance ceremony."
