" Sarah, Plain and Tall " written by Patricia MacLachlan. Sarah, Plain and Tall (Sarah, Plain and Tall Saga #1)  Introduction  Caleb and Anna live on a lonely farm. Their Mama died when Caleb was born,but Anna can remember how Mama and Papa used to sing. Now there's no singing in the house. But Papa puts an advertisement for a wife in the paper,and one spring,Sarah,plain and tall,arrives and there's singing in the house once more.  I couldn't help myself flowing of tears down my cheeks. This story is short and eaｓｙ to read though, Because of that, I could understand the feeling of each character, Children, the elder sister Anna and the younger brother Caleb who had lost their mother , wish Sarah would be their mother and their father also wishes Sarah would be his wife. Especially, I could see the feeling of Anna and Culeb. As I read this story, I felt symphathy how lonely they had been since their mother had passed away. I would love and hold them tight in my arms lik their mother. At the end of this story, Sarah missed her home by the sea and would go back to her home to bring the seeds of flower called nasturtium. I also brought the tubers of daffodil from my aunt and the seeds of morning glories from my father in my home town and planted them in my tiny garden. Seeing those flowers in each season in every year, I would remember their faces and my hometown.
